Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen operation at a prestigious luxury hotel in Midrand.📍 Location: Midrand, Gauteng💰 Salary: R25,000 per month, negotiable depending on experience

This is an exciting opportunity for a strong culinary leader who takes pride in exceptional food quality, creative dining experiences and developing a high-performing kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the kitchen team and daily operations
• Oversee food preparation, presentation and service
• Plan menus and maintain high culinary standards
• Manage food costing, stock control and wastage
• Ensure food safety, hygiene and kitchen compliance
• Train and mentor kitchen staff
• Manage rosters, staffing and operational priorities
• Maintain a clean, organised and professional kitchen

Requirements:

• Proven Head Chef or senior kitchen management experience
• Luxury hotel or high-end hospitality experience advantageous
• Strong leadership and culinary skills
• Excellent knowledge of food costing and stock control
• Creative approach to menus and presentation
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Calm and effective under pressure
