Ice Cream Cart Runner – Fixed Term – Luxury Wine Estate – Stellenbosch
Our client is seeking a friendly and energetic Ice Cream Cart Runner to join the seasonal guest-service team at a prestigious luxury wine estate in Stellenbosch on a fixed-term contract.
This is a guest-facing position suited to someone with a naturally warm personality who enjoys interacting with people and maintaining excellent service and presentation standards.
Description:
- Serve guests from the estate’s ice cream cart
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Maintain attractive presentation of the cart and service area
- Ensure products and service items are correctly stocked
- Maintain excellent cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Assist with opening and closing preparations
- Monitor stock and communicate replenishment requirements
- Handle guest enquiries professionally
- Follow food-safety and operational procedures
- Assist with general guest-service requirements when needed
Requirements:
- Previous hospitality, food service, retail or customer-service experience advantageous
- Friendly and confident with guests
- Professional and well presented
- Good English communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Comfortable working independently
- Energetic and proactive
- Comfortable working outdoors where required
- Able to work weekends and public holidays
