Senior Travel Designer | Luxury Lodge Portfolio | LV

An established luxury lodge portfolio is looking for an experienced Senior Travel Designer to join its Cape Town team.

Representing an exceptional collection of luxury properties and experiences across Southern Africa, this role is ideal for a commercially minded travel professional who loves creating highly personalised journeys and delivering outstanding guest service.

The Senior Travel Designer will manage the guest journey from initial enquiry through to post-travel follow-up, combining creative itinerary design with strong sales ability, exceptional attention to detail and seamless booking management.

Key Responsibilities

Research, design and curate bespoke, high-end itineraries tailored to individual guest preferences.

Manage enquiries from initial contact through to confirmation and post-travel follow-up.

Deliver a personalised, high-touch level of service throughout the guest journey.

Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings while maintaining rate and margin integrity.

Manage complex bookings, guest communication and supplier coordination.

Ensure exceptional accuracy across all reservations and supporting documentation.

Build strong relationships with guests, agents and suppliers.

Identify opportunities to enhance itineraries and maximise the overall guest experience.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a confident and highly organised luxury travel professional with:

A minimum of 2 years' experience selling luxury or tailor-made travel.

Proven sales and conversion ability.

Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of rate and margin integrity.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Exceptional relationship-building and guest service skills.

Strong organisational and administrative ability.

Impeccable attention to detail.

The ability to confidently manage complex, high-value travel arrangements.

A genuine passion for luxury travel and creating memorable guest experiences.
