🆕🦁 Assistant Head Guide | Private Wildlife Reserve | Kalahari 🌿Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Head Guide for a prestigious Private Wildlife Reserve in the Kalahari.

This is an incredible opportunity for a passionate and qualified guide looking to take the next step in their career while working in one of South Africa's most remote and unique safari destinations. The successful candidate will support the Head Guide in overseeing guiding operations, mentoring junior guides and delivering exceptional safari experiences for guests.💼 Package💰 Salary: R25,000 per month (Negotiable depending on experience)🏡 Live-in position✈️ Free flights in and out from Cape Town or Johannesburg🔄 6 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off rotation🦒 Key Responsibilities

Assist the Head Guide in managing the day-to-day guiding operations

Lead guided game drives and interpretive bush walks with a strong focus on safety and guest enjoyment

Mentor and develop junior guides

Ensure the maintenance and care of safari vehicles and guiding equipment

Coordinate and assist with special bush experiences, including walking safaris and bush dinners

Share extensive knowledge of wildlife, ecology and conservation with guests

Support lodge management with guest hosting and ensure exceptional guest satisfaction

Communicate guest preferences and feedback to relevant departments✅ Requirements

FGASA Level 2 or Level 3 qualification

Lead Trails Guide qualification preferred

Valid ARH, First Aid Level 1 and DEAT registration

Valid Driver's Licence and PDP

Minimum of 2 years' guiding management experience or 5 years' experience as a Senior Guide

Strong leadership and mentoring abilities

Excellent communication and guest interaction skills

Passion for conservation and delivering exceptional safari experiences

Experience within the Kalahari or a similar remote environment would be advantageous
