About the Opportunity

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and guest-focused Assistant Lodge Manager to join a luxury 5-star safari lodge in the Eastern Cape. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional with strong lodge operations and guest relations experience to support the Lodge Manager in delivering exceptional service and maintaining world-class hospitality standards.

Key Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or a related hospitality qualification.
• Minimum of 3–5 years' experience within a 5-star establishment as an Assistant Lodge Manager, Duty Manager or Guest Relations Manager.
• Previous luxury safari lodge experience will be highly advantageous.
• Proven experience in lodge operations and guest service management.
• Good working knowledge of POS and PMS systems.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise, train and develop lodge teams.
• Excellent guest relations skills with experience managing special requests and guest feedback.
• Strong understanding of stock control, cash handling and cost management.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to confidently oversee lodge operations in the absence of the Lodge Manager.
• Valid driver's licence is essential.

Package

• Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience.
• Live-In position.
