Commis Chef

A five star boutique hotel in Umhlanga Rocks requires a dynamic, outgoing and very well spoken mature Commis Chef to start as soon as possible. The role is made up of many varying responsibilities including food preparation, cooking in an open plan kitchen and preparing food of exceptional quality. Experience is essential as the position requires someone who has hands on knowledge of stock control and rotation as well as ordering daily supplies.

We also require an individual who is confident enough to handle every aspect of working in a small, but very well organized, kitchen.  Coping well, and in an organized manner, under pressure, is essential as this is not a conventional hotel  kitchen position and requires someone with excellent communication skills in order to be able to liaise with management and international guests. Please submit your CV, which must include traceable references.
