About the Opportunity

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an energetic, reliable and hands-on Duty Manager for a luxury lodge in Manyoni, Kwa

Zulu-Natal. This is an excellent opportunity for an adaptable hospitality professional looking to develop their skills across all aspects of lodge operations. The successful candidate will support the Lodge Manager and Assistant Lodge Manager with the day-to-day running of the lodge, gaining exposure to a wide range of operational responsibilities within a small, close-knit team.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of previous experience in a similar Duty Manager or hospitality management role
• Valid driver's licence
• Valid First Aid Level 1 preferred
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure
• Confident and respectful staff management skills, with clear professional boundaries
• Energetic, hands-on and eager to learn, and willing to assist across all areas of lodge operations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A positive attitude and genuine passion for hospitality
• Confident handling in-camp issues and comfortable working independently and under pressure
• Willingness to live and work within a small, close-knit team

Package

• Salary: R9,000 per month, negotiable depending on experience
