Front Office Manager

Premier Resort The Moorings in beautiful Knysna is looking for a dynamic and experienced Front Office Manager to lead our Front Office team and ensure an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure.

The ideal candidate will be a confident and hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality, strong organisational skills, and a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Front Office department.

Lead and manage the reception and reservations functions.

Ensure a smooth and welcoming check-in and check-out experience for all guests.

Manage room allocations, reservations, occupancy levels, and guest requirements.

Handle guest queries, complaints, and special requests professionally and efficiently.

Build strong relationships with guests and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.

Train, motivate, coach, and develop Front Office staff.

Ensure that hotel policies, procedures, and service standards are consistently maintained.

Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations and an exceptional guest experience.

Monitor Front Office administration and ensure accurate and efficient procedures are followed.

Assist with achieving departmental targets and maintaining high operational standards.

Requirements:✅ Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a Front Office Management or similar supervisory role.✅ Hospitality qualification will be an advantage.✅ Strong leadership and people-management skills.✅ Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.✅ Previous experience with hotel management systems.✅ Strong guest-service and interpersonal skills.✅ Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.✅ A professional, positive, and hands-on approach to hospitality.✅ Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
