GENERAL MANAGER | Restaurant - Fourways, Johannesburg
Salary: R25,000 – R30,000 per month
An established and busy restaurant is looking for an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead the team, drive performance and ensure an exceptional guest experience.
WHAT YOU’LL DO-Oversee daily FOH, kitchen, pizza and bar operations
Lead, train, motivate and roster the team-Drive sales, profitability and operational performance-Manage food costs, stock, wastage and labour costs-Maintain high standards of food quality, service, hygiene and cleanliness-Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints professionally-Manage cash controls, payroll submissions and reporting-Ensure compliance with operational, health amp; safety and company standards-Support promotions, marketing initiatives and restaurant growth
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR-5+ years’ restaurant management experience-Strong leadership and people-management skills-Good knowledge of food costs, stock control, budgets and POS-Excellent communication and organisational ability-A hands-on, energetic approach-Passionate about hospitality and confident managing a busy restaurant
