Our client is an ultra-luxury, exclusive-use safari lodge set within a private reserve near Hoedspruit, offering a highly personalised safari experience for discerning guests. Designed as a private safari residence rather than a traditional lodge, this property offers complete exclusivity, tailored service, exceptional food and beverage experiences, private guiding, and a strong focus on detail, discretion and guest comfort.

We are currently looking for an experienced Head Housekeeper to oversee housekeeping standards at this exclusive-use luxury safari lodge. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all guest suites, public areas, back-of-house spaces and lodge facilities are maintained to an exceptional standard.

This role requires someone with strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and the ability to lead a small housekeeping team with care, structure and consistency.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Head Housekeeper, Assistant Head Housekeeper or Senior Housekeeper5-star lodge, boutique hotel or private villa experience required

Strong eye for detail and presentation

Good leadership and training ability

Excellent organisational skills

Able to manage stock, linen and housekeeping systems

Hands-on, practical and team-focused

High personal standards and pride in work

Able to work in a remote lodge environment
