Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a motivated and organised Junior Reservationist to join a luxury boutique hotel in Durban. Zulu-Natal💼 Position: Junior Reservationist💰 Salary: R8,000 – R10,000 per month | Live-out

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

• Assist with handling accommodation reservations, amendments, cancellations and guest enquiries.
• Respond to telephone and email enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Assist with maintaining accurate reservation records and ensuring all booking information is up to date.
• Communicate effectively with guests and internal departments regarding arrivals, departures and special requests.
• Provide friendly and efficient service throughout the reservation process.
• Assist with ensuring occupancy and availability information is accurately captured on the reservations system.
• Support the reservations team with administrative duties and general office tasks.
• Maintain a professional standard of communication with guests, travel agents and other relevant parties.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in reservations, front office or a similar hospitality environment would be advantageous.
• A hospitality qualification or relevant experience will be beneficial.
• Strong communication and administration skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to remain organised.
• Professional telephone and email etiquette.
• Computer literate, with experience using hotel or reservations systems advantageous.
• A positive, friendly and service-driven approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must be based in or around Durban and be able to work on a live-out basis.
