Lodge Attendant – Luxury Lodge – Grahamstown

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking 2 x Lodge Attendants to join a luxury lodge in Grahamstown.

The successful candidates will assist with the smooth day-to-day operation of the lodge, ensuring guests receive warm, professional and attentive service throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and assist guests with arrivals, departures and luggage

Provide attentive guest service and respond to guest requests

Assist with serving coffee, tea, refreshments and meals

Prepare and maintain guest rooms and communal areas to a high standard

Handle laundry, linen and room preparation

Assist with general lodge upkeep and presentation

Identify and report maintenance issues or breakages

Work closely with the wider lodge team to ensure smooth operations

Assist colleagues during busy periods and guest changeovers

Requirements

Grade 10 qualification preferred

Previous lodge, hotel, guest house or hospitality experience advantageous

Guest relations and customer service experience

Good housekeeping and cleaning skills

Basic knowledge of food and beverage service

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Good organisational and time-management abilities

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Friendly, professional and guest-focused approach
