Lodge Management Couple - Luxury Lodge - Greater Kruger | LV

We are looking for an experienced and engaging Lodge Management Couple to join a lovely lodge situated within a well-loved and popular private reserve in the Greater Kruger area, close to Hoedspruit.

The lodge forms part of a respected collection and offers a wonderful opportunity for a couple with solid lodge experience who are ready to take on a broad management role within a well-established operation.

This position would suit a couple who are already comfortable with the day-to-day demands of lodge life, enjoy being hands-on and visible within the operation, and are confident managing both guests and teams. While this is not an overly senior or executive-level management role, the successful couple should bring good operational experience and be capable of taking real ownership of the lodge.

Key responsibilities will include:* Overseeing the smooth day-to-day running of the lodge* Hosting guests and ensuring a warm, personalised and memorable guest experience* Managing and supporting front-of-house, housekeeping and service teams* Supervising staff performance, training and daily operational requirements* Overseeing guest arrivals, departures and special requests* Maintaining consistently high standards across all guest-facing areas* Assisting with stock control, ordering, administration and operational reporting* Handling guest feedback and resolving any issues professionally* Working closely with senior management and the wider lodge collection* Ensuring the lodge operation remains organised, efficient and guest-focused

We are looking for a couple who:* Have previous management or strong assistant management experience within a 4- or 5-star safari lodge environment* Understand the operational demands of a remote lodge* Are confident managing teams and maintaining standards* Are warm, personable and natural hosts* Are hands-on and happy to be involved across different areas of the lodge* Are organised, practical and able to problem-solve calmly* Have strong communication and leadership skills* Work well together while also being able to take ownership of individual responsibilities* Have a genuine passion for hospitality, safari tourism and lodge life

This would be an excellent opportunity for an established lodge couple looking for a strong next step within a respected collection, without moving into a highly corporate or executive management environment.
