Lodge Manager | Luxury Lodge | Greater Kruger | LV

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and professional Lodge Manager to join a luxury lodge in the Greater Kruger area.

This is a hands-on management role suited to someone who is confident overseeing day-to-day lodge operations, leading a team and ensuring consistently high standards of guest service. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining smooth operational delivery while creating a welcoming and memorable guest experience.

Key responsibilities:

Oversee all daily lodge operations and ensure consistently high service standards

Lead, support and motivate lodge staff

Assist with staff training, development and performance management

Coordinate guest services and ensure guest needs are anticipated and addressed promptly

Maintain a visible and professional presence throughout the lodge

Handle guest feedback and resolve operational issues efficiently

Oversee stock control and general lodge administration

Assist with budgeting, cost awareness and operational expenditure

Ensure health, safety and hygiene standards are consistently maintained

Liaise with suppliers, contractors and service providers as required

Coordinate effectively across lodge departments to ensure smooth service delivery

Report to lodge ownership or senior management on operational matters

Maintain strong attention to detail across guest areas and lodge operations

Requirements:

Previous experience in a Lodge Manager or similar senior operational role

Experience within a luxury lodge, safari or high-end hospitality environment preferred

Strong leadership and people-management skills

Excellent guest-relations and communication abilities

Good administrative and organisational skills

Experience with budgets, stock control and operational reporting

Ability to remain calm and solutions-focused under pressure

Strong attention to detail and commitment to service excellence

Hands-on and willing to assist across departments when required

Professional, reliable and guest-focused approach

Package:

Salary negotiable depending on experience

Live-in accommodation

Three meals provided per day
