About the Opportunity

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and passionate Lodge Manager to join a prestigious luxury safari lodge in the Sabi Sands, Mpumalanga. This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled hospitality professional to lead the lodge team, oversee daily operations and deliver personalised, world-class guest experiences within an internationally recognised luxury safari environment.

Key Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years' hospitality experience, including management experience within a recognised 5-star hotel or world-class luxury safari lodge.
• Proven ability to manage all aspects of luxury lodge operations and maintain exceptional service standards.
• Strong Food & Beverage knowledge, including service, preparation terminology, dietary requirements and allergies.
• Excellent guest relations skills with a highly personalised and hands-on approach to hospitality.
• Strong financial management skills, including stock control, ordering and cost management.
• Proven leadership ability with experience developing, mentoring and motivating lodge teams.
• Sound understanding of HR processes, basic labour legislation and disciplinary procedures.
• Good knowledge of Housekeeping and Maintenance operations and standards.
• Excellent administrative, organisational and reporting skills.
• Strong computer literacy.
• Excellent written and spoken English; a second language will be advantageous.
• Awareness of current luxury hospitality, food and lodge industry trends.
• Professional, hardworking and highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
• Valid driver's licence.

Package

• Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience.
