ONLINE BOOKINGS & GUEST RELATIONS MANAGER | REMOTE

An exciting opportunity to join an exclusive luxury nature retreat near Montagu, managing the complete guest journey from the first online enquiry through to post-stay follow-up.

This is a South Africa-based remote position, with occasional visits to the property.

The Role

You will take ownership of the online reservations journey, ensuring every guest interaction is professional, personalised and seamless — while working closely with the on-site team to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Manage direct, website and OTA enquiries and bookings

Own pre-arrival, in-stay and post-stay guest communication

Provide personalised Whats

App concierge support

Manage availability, rates, restrictions and inventory across the PMS & channel manager

Convert enquiries and proactively follow up provisional bookings

Support occupancy and revenue targets

Coordinate guest access, special requests and on-site handovers

Manage guest recovery within agreed authority and escalate operational matters promptly

Monitor pickup, occupancy, conversion, guest feedback and booking-source performance

The Ideal Candidate

Proven reservations and guest-relations experience within a luxury lodge, boutique hotel, villa or similar high-touch environment

Confident using cloud-based PMS systems, channel managers, OT

As, online payment platforms and Whats

App Business

Exceptional written and verbal English

Polished, warm and professional guest communication

Calm judgement and excellent attention to detail

Able to work independently and effectively from a reliable remote setup

South African-based and able to visit the Montagu property occasionally

Revenue-management experience would be a strong advantage
