Our client is seeking two qualified Rangers / Field Guides to join the guiding team at a luxury safari lodge in the Hoedspruit / Greater Kruger area.

These are live-in positions for passionate safari professionals who can combine excellent bush knowledge with warm, engaging and professional guest interaction.

Description:

• Conduct professional guided game drives
• Provide informative and engaging safari experiences
• Interpret wildlife, ecology and the natural environment for guests
• Host and interact with guests professionally
• Maintain appropriate safety standards during safari activities
• Prepare and inspect vehicles before activities
• Assist with basic vehicle care and report maintenance requirements
• Maintain guiding equipment
• Support the wider lodge team when operationally required
• Contribute positively to the overall guest experience

Requirements:

• Relevant recognised field-guiding qualification
• Valid driver’s licence
• Professional driving permit where required
• Current First Aid certification preferred
• Previous guiding experience within a safari lodge or reserve environment
• Strong wildlife and bush knowledge
• Excellent communication and guest-engagement skills
• Professional and safety conscious
• Passionate about conservation and safari hospitality
• Practical, responsible and team oriented
• Comfortable living and working in a remote lodge environment

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: R10,000 per month
