Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Relief Lodge Manager to provide senior operational leadership across two luxury safari lodges in the Sabi Sand.

This is a dynamic role suited to a confident hospitality leader who can seamlessly move between Lodge Manager and Guest Experience Manager responsibilities, providing leave coverage and operational support where needed.📍 Location: Sabi Sands💼 Role: Permanent | Full-Time💰 Package: Market-related

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide management relief across both lodges
• Lead day-to-day lodge operations and guest-facing services
• Deliver exceptional, personalised guest experiences
• Act as a visible and engaging host
• Lead and support Heads of Department and operational teams
• Oversee guest arrivals, departures, itineraries and lodge logistics
• Maintain luxury service and presentation standards
• Manage guest concerns, service recovery and VIP requirements
• Ensure effective management handovers and operational continuity
• Support cost control, stock management, compliance and health & safety

Requirements:

• 3–5 years’ management experience in a luxury safari lodge, boutique hotel or 5-star environment
• Strong lodge operations and guest experience background
• Proven leadership experience with diverse teams
• Excellent communication and guest engagement skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Financial and operational business awareness
• Calm and effective under pressure
• Computer literate
• Valid driver’s licence
