Reservationist – Luxury Guest Farm – Franschhoek📞 Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Reservationist to join a luxury guest farm in Franschhoek.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing reservations and assisting guests throughout the booking process, ensuring a seamless and professional experience from initial enquiry through to arrival.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all reservations, enquiries, amendments, cancellations, and confirmations.

Respond to guest and agent enquiries via email, telephone, and other communication channels.

Provide accurate information regarding accommodation, rates, availability, and experiences.

Maintain accurate booking records and ensure all reservation details are captured correctly.

Liaise closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Management to ensure smooth guest arrivals and stays.

Follow up on provisional bookings and outstanding confirmations or payments.

Assist with maintaining occupancy and maximising revenue opportunities.

Handle special requests, dietary requirements, and guest preferences professionally.

Ensure all guest and booking information is kept up to date.

Assist with reporting and general reservations administration.

Deliver a high level of service while maintaining a professional and welcoming approach.

Requirements

Previous experience in a reservations role within a luxury hospitality environment.

Strong knowledge of reservations procedures and systems.

Excellent communication and administration skills.

Strong attention to detail and organisational ability.

Confident telephone and email etiquette.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Professional, well-presented, and guest-focused.

Strong computer literacy, including MS Office.

Knowledge of luxury hospitality and the Franschhoek/Winelands area will be advantageous.

Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
