Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a professional and organised Reservations Coordinator to join a luxury beach house in Durban, KZN. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing reservations and supporting the overall guest booking experience, ensuring that enquiries and bookings are handled efficiently and professionally.

Position: Reservations Coordinator

Location: Durban, KZN

Property type: Luxury Beach House

Salary: R9,000 – R12,000 per month

Key responsibilities:

Manage reservations from initial enquiry through to confirmation.

Respond to guest enquiries in a timely, professional and informative manner.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date reservation records.

Handle booking amendments, cancellations and special requests.

Communicate effectively with guests regarding availability, rates and booking details.

Liaise with relevant departments to ensure all guest requirements are communicated and actioned.

Assist with maintaining accurate room and availability information.

Ensure all reservations are processed according to established procedures.

Provide professional and personalised service to guests throughout the booking process.

Assist with general administrative duties relating to reservations and guest services.

Requirements:

Previous reservations, front office or hospitality administration experience.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.

Good computer literacy and confidence working with reservation systems.

Professional telephone and written communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple enquiries and bookings efficiently.

A guest-focused approach with a strong commitment to service.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
