About the Opportunity
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a warm, professional and guest-focused Host to join a luxury beach house in Ballito, Kwa
Zulu-Natal. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a refined hospitality environment and is passionate about delivering personalised service and memorable guest experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that guests receive a welcoming, attentive and seamless experience throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and check in guests in a warm, professional and efficient manner.
- Provide personalised service and attend to guest requests and requirements.
- Assist with coordinating daily guest activities and arrangements.
- Maintain excellent communication with guests and the wider hospitality team.
- Ensure guest areas are consistently presented to a high standard.
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively assist wherever required.
- Handle guest queries and concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain the high service standards expected within a luxury hospitality environment.
- Assist with general hosting duties and support the smooth day-to-day operation of the property.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience in a luxury hospitality, hotel, lodge or guesthouse environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A warm, friendly and professional personality.
- Strong attention to detail and a guest-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Professional presentation and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Package
- Salary: R10,000 – R13,000 per month.
- Live-out position.
