HOTEL RESTAURANT SUPERVISOR

Location: Stellenbosch, Western Cape

Salary: R16,000 per month

Position: Live Out – Local candidates preferred

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced Hotel Restaurant Supervisor to join a professional hospitality team in Stellenbosch.

The successful candidate will have previous supervisory experience within a hotel restaurant environment, strong guest service skills and a good understanding of food, wine and restaurant operations.

REQUIREMENTS

Hospitality Qualification from an accredited academic institution – NQF Level 5

Matric

Minimum 1 year's experience as a Restaurant Supervisor

WSET Level 1 – advantageous

Symphony experience – required

Good knowledge of food, wine and waiter service

Basic Barista skills required

Experience with stock control and monthly stock takes

Strong communication skills and professional telephone etiquette

Ability to handle guest complaints and make sound decisions

Customer-service orientated

Ability to work effectively under pressure

Willingness to assist wherever required

Must be able to work shifts, including early and late shifts, weekends and public holidays

Clean credit check and clean criminal record required
