Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a professional, warm and guest-focused Receptionist to join a luxury lodge in Hoedspruit. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional with strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Location: Hoedspruit

Salary: R8,500 per month, live-in

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a welcoming and professional first point of contact for guests while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the lodge's front office. A strong understanding of lodge operations, excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle guest interactions with professionalism are essential.

Requirements:

At least 2 years' experience in hospitality, preferably within a high-end lodge or hotel environment.

A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field is often required.

Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Good understanding of lodge operations.

Proficiency in computer systems and software used in lodging operations, including property management systems.

Ability to work flexible and irregular hours, including nights, weekends and public holidays.

Excellent attention to detail.

Professional, well-presented and guest-focused approach.

Ability to maintain high service standards in a luxury hospitality environment.
