Reservations Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Reservations Manager to join the team of this high-profile lifestyle restaurant opening in Cape Town with an expanding hospitality group.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Reservations Manager within high-end or lifestyle restaurants – Someone who understands exceptional service in a luxury environment, positive team leadership & development.

About:

Lead the pre-opening reservations operation, establishing systems, procedures & service standards.

Set up & management of the restaurant’s reservation, table-management & CRM systems

Recruit, train & develop the reservations team, establishing a polished & professional guest communication style.

Establish & manage relationships with concierge teams, luxury hotels, travel advisors & other key referral partners.

Develop reservation policies covering bookings, cancellations, no-shows, deposits, waitlists & table allocation.

Manage all incoming reservations across phone, email, website & third-party platforms.

Oversee the daily reservations book, optimising table utilisation, seating flow & revenue opportunities.

Build and maintain a detailed VIP, HNW and regular guest database, ensuring personalised service and recognition.

Requirements:·        International experience highly beneficial·        Minimum 2 years in a similar position within high-end busy dining environments·        Experienced in reservations, CRM & 3rd party booking platforms·        A positive mentor & leadership style

Salary Offered: R30 000 dependent upon experience
