About the Opportunity

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Rooms Division Manager to join a privately owned luxury lodge and estate in Plettenberg Bay. This is a senior operational role for a hands-on hospitality professional who is passionate about exceptional guest service, attention to detail and leading teams within a luxury environment.

The successful candidate will oversee guest-facing operations, including accommodation, housekeeping, guest relations and public areas, while working closely with the General Manager to maintain exceptional service standards throughout the property.

Key Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience within luxury hospitality.
• Previous management experience within a luxury lodge, hotel or similar guest-focused environment.
• Strong Rooms Division, Housekeeping and Guest Relations experience.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Proven ability to maintain and improve luxury service and operational standards.
• Exceptional guest relations and communication skills.
• Strong organisational, planning and administrative abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to consistently high standards.
• Hands-on management style with the ability to lead by example.
• Confident mentoring, motivating and developing team members.
• Proactive approach with strong ownership and accountability.
• Ability to remain calm, professional and solution-focused under pressure.
• Genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.

Package

• Salary: R25,000 – R30,000 per month.
