Senior Beverage Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Beverage Manager to join the team of this high-profile lifestyle restaurant opening in Cape Town with an expanding hospitality group.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Beverage Manager within high-end or lifestyle restaurants – Someone who understands exceptional service in a luxury environment, positive team leadership & development, and commercially minded driving revenue.

About:·        Lead the pre-opening beverage operation, establishing all beverage standards, procedures & service protocols.·        Establish relationships with premium wine producers, suppliers, distributors & brand partners.·        Develop beverage budgets, pricing strategies & menu engineering to maximise profitability.·        Recruit, train & develop the beverage team, establishing a strong culture of product knowledge & elevated service.·        Deliver comprehensive training on wine, spirits, cocktails, service standards & upselling techniques.·        Manage the restaurant’s beverage storage, ensuring appropriate stock levels & correct handling & storage.·        Work closely with the Restaurant Management & Executive Chef to create cohesive F&B pairings & guest experiences.

Requirements:·        International experience highly beneficial·        Strong knowledge international beverage trends·        Strong knowledge of international & SA wines, cocktails & spirits·        Minimum 5 years in a similar position within high-end busy dining environments·        A positive mentor & leadership style

Salary Offered: up to R40 000 dependent upon experience
